Congratulations to the Beattie Brothers twelve
Established in 1985, Stevenage-based Beattie Brothers Transport & Storage have built a reputation on reliability in the collection and distribution of pallets, locally, nationally and internationally. With their fleet of 20 vehicles and 30 staff, Beattie Brothers Transport & Storage aims to deliver on time, every time. No fewer than 12 members of staff at Beattie Brothers have completed the NVQ level 2 course in Driving Goods Vehicles. Congratulations to everyone involved, especially as this was all entirely voluntary, involved a lot of hard work and commitment from both the company and the individuals concerned and was completed in an impressively short time. The qualification is QCA approved and is certificated by the awarding body Edexcel. Gaining an NVQ qualification is always a great achievementM2 Training Ltd carried out the training and assessment through the Government’s Train to Gain scheme, in partnership with the North Hertfordshire College Train to Gain Consortium for Business. Richard Henson MBE, managing director of M2 Training commented, “Gaining an NVQ qualification is always a great achievement and for a relatively small, private company to commit to national standards in this way is excellent. It’s a great way for management and employees to share in the drive towards the continuous improvement of a business. Working with the Company has been seamless and a pleasure”. Matthew Malone of North Herts College added, “We deliver funded training solutions with added value to help drive your business forward and we were delighted to help Beattie Brothers Transport do just that.” Case studies
