Step 1 - Induction

This is required to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and that eligibility requirements for both the awarding body and government funding is met.

Step 2 - Training

We use these group sessions to discuss certain aspects of your role in relation to the course content. Using DVD footage to re-create real life scenarios learners can share best practice examples and this has proven to be a most effective way of underpinning knowledge.

Step 3 - Observation

You will be allocated a dedicated assessor who will work with you to build a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your capability to carry out your core responsibilities.

This stage will include.

  • Observing you carrying out your normal duties (minimum of two separate occasions)
  • Discussing key aspects of your role with you
  • Providing feedback, giving guidance and making recommendations
  • Reviewing your assessment portfolio (supplied to learner on disk once qualified)

Step 4 - Verification

It is vital that all aspects of our training provision meet the strict standards set by the awarding and funding bodies we work in with. To satisfy this requirement all aspects of our training delivery are internally verified. In addition we are regularly audited by a variety of external agencies all of whom need to be assured that we are meeting their required standards

Step 5 - Qualification

Having successfully completed steps 1 - 4 learners will be recognised, via a certificate from the awarding body, as having achieved the national minimum standards for their current job. This certificate adds real value to both the learner and to their employer.
